An emergency light is a lighting device with a battery backup that switches on automatically when a building experiences a power outage. Remote heads are lights used in conjunction with a remote capable emergency lights or exit sign. Essentially, remote emergency light heads offer more than one backup lighting location, without having to add additional lighting systems. The result is a flexible system with low cost and maintenance.
