A nickel metal hydride battery, abbreviated NiMH or Ni–MH, is a type of rechargeable battery. A NiMH battery can have two to three times the capacity of an equivalent size NiCd, and its energy density can approach that of a lithium-ion battery.


Dual circuit
Dual circuit exit signs. These unit allows the fixture to have dual power feeds. The idea behind this is so that when on normal power, the fixture is fed from a switch leg and can be turned off by the occupant. The PTS relay coil is fed by unswitched normal power. The normal power from the switch leg is connected to the normally open contacts on the PTS relay.
