Self-luminous Tritium Exit Sign

The TSL series of self-luminous exits are designed for easy installation. The use of internally sealed tritium gas as the illumination source reduces general maintenance issues and operational costs. The TSL series does not require electrical power, wiring or batteries.

TSL is available in single or double face versions. Housings are available constructed from durable corrosion resistant thermoplastic. The TSL series is offered in 10 or 20 year versions. Suitable for wet, cold and hazardous location installations.

Red

Red letters are required for New York City and Chicago approved exit signs.

Green letters are typically used in theater exit signs.

Damp Location

A damp location is an interior location normally subject to dampness or condensation, or an exterior location protected from weather and not subject to saturation with water. Damp locations include over bathtubs, indoor pools, covered porches, and like locations.

Gray

Wet Location

Wet Location emergency lights and exit signs are weatherproof and designed to be used in outdoor environments, as well as indoor locations that are exposed to water and moisture. Wet location emergency lights and exit signs are extremely durable and long-lasting.

Cold Weather

Batteries placed in cold environments can eventually fail or rupture. If your emergency lights or exit signs will be installed in temperatures below 20° F (-6° C), you may want to consider a cold weather option. Cold weather lights include a thermostatic battery heater which maintains the battery strength and lifespan in temperatures between -4° F (-20° C) and -40° F (-40° C) depending on the model you choose.

Hazardous Location

Hazardous location exit signs and emergency lights are designed to operate in hostile environments that would damage ordinary signs and lights. Constructed from corrosion resistant materials, some units offer sealed enclosures that can be used in outdoor environments or areas subject to water spray, moisture and extreme temperature conditions.
