Ideal for commercial and institutional installations, this recessed fixture blends perfectly with current interior decors. ML-ATX RECESSED exits configured for AC/DC operation feature a universal DC input; 6VDC – 24VDC backup voltages are standard. The ML-ATX RECESSED is available configured with high-output LEDs in AC only, AC/DC and selfpowered operation versions.

Nickel-Cadmium (NiCd)

The nickel–cadmium battery is a type of rechargeable battery using nickel oxide hydroxide and metallic cadmium as electrodes. The abbreviation NiCd is derived from the chemical symbols of nickel and cadmium. NiCd batteries have a longer shelf life of around 10 years. The NiCd batteries sold on this site are High Temperature NiCds batteries with outstanding charge/discharge characteristics at both room temperature and high temperature up to 70°C (158°F).

Red

Recessed Mount

Recessed mounted exit signs or emergency lights offer a low-profile installation by hiding the housing, which includes the electrical components of the exit sign in the ceiling.

AC Only

AC only exit signs do not include a battery backup or charging circuitry and are for installation and use only where emergency power is supplied from a remote or secondary AC power supply.

Dual Circuit

Dual circuit exit signs. These unit allows the fixture to have dual power feeds. The idea behind this is so that when on normal power, the fixture is fed from a switch leg and can be turned off by the occupant. The PTS relay coil is fed by unswitched normal power. The normal power from the switch leg is connected to the normally open contacts on the PTS relay.
